Which would you choose for a nice character breakfast? Which has better food? I have heard lots of nice things about the Park Fare.

Well.....I haven't BEEN to Park Fare yet,
but if you ask me, NOTHING, i mean NOTHING, beats Chef Mickeys. At Chef Mickey's (we ate dinner there) the food is great, and each character comes to your table at least twice. It is really fun, and I am sure you would love it.

we haven't been to chef mickeys in years, but we were just at 1900 park fare for breakfast in september..
it was TERRIBLE.....horribly noisy (and that was when the place was mostly empty), very poor food selection, claustrophobic...
i would never ever ever ever ever go there again....

we were at the Chrystal Palace breakfast in July and it was wonderful...the high glass ceiling made it feel nice and open despite the fact that it was packed...and the food selection was far superior to what was at the 1900 park fare...

as i said, we haven't been at chef mickeys for years so i can't tell you about that one...
but i would definitely say avoid 1900 park fare for breakfast...

The large majority here will say PF has better food quality than CM (made to order omelets and eggs, strawberry soup, the ice cream machine runs during breakfast). Yes, there is the occasional bad experience at PF. But history here is at least 90/10 for good/bad review.

We've had many a breakfast at PF (it's now our traditional closer before leaving for MCO) and it is an absolute requirement for all trips. I doubt there is any better character breakfast than the 8:00 first seating. The food is fresh, hardly any one is there, and you'll get lots of time with the characters. We see all of the characters at least twice, if not three times.

For a lot of people it comes down to characters, since there defintely is a difference on the characters.

We did both PF & CM on the same trip! Loved them both for different reasons. The characters came around to the tables about the same amount of time and lingered for pictures.

PF was a little more subdued (quiet) but we liked the food selections better. (The chef even came out and chatted for a bit.) Nice relaxing meal. Enjoyed the characters.

CM was high energy with kids having a chance to all get out on the floor and dance with the characters. The food wasn't bad. We had a blast.

We had a great time and would do either again in a heartbeat. :) But since we've done those two, we may venture out and try some different venues next time.

I am a Park Faire fan. Yes, the buffet did seem a bit smaller than when I was there in 1997 but it's a very good breakfast for the money, the characters are terrific, and the "face" characters (Alice and the Mad Hatter) were very good. The service was excellent too.

We have done CP and Chef Mickeys - nowhere near as good as Park Fare .1900 Park Fare IS the absolute best!!!! It beats Chef Mickeys and CP hands down. :cool1: The food and character interaction is amazing.
