Park Entry Tapstiles - Show ID?

Hi All -
Traveling with a family member that is super leery of data security. They would always opt out of fingerprint scanning and opt to show ID instead. With fingerprint scanning now Off because of covid, they asked me how Disney knows it’s them? Do they need to show their ID each time? I honestly don’t know how to answer the question. I’m guessing with the info profile you have on file (Age, gender, etc) they can guess that the guest tapping in matches the MDE profile? Anything I can say to help them understand what data Disney may see based on them tapping into a park?

They are not asking for ID when you enter the parks right now.

There doesn't appear to be any kind of screen at the tap styles for the CM to see any info as a guest taps in.
