Park Entrances Quastion

Does anyone know if there is an entrance to DCA off Katela? Staying at a hotel on Katela later this month. A map on the hotel web site shows one, but I do not recall ever seeing one. (Near the Desert Palms)

Any help is appreciated

There are only 2 ways to go into the park, and coming from Katella, you guys could walk to the front entrance of the park(depending on how far down Katella you guys are). If you put in the address of your hotel in googlemaps, and put Disneyland as your destination, it will actually show you distance and walking wise, how long and how far away you are from the park entrance.

No. You have to either walk up Harbor or up thru DTD.

Thanks to both of you.....I did not think there was an entrance there, but it's been 4 years since my last visit.

My hotel is at the corner of katela and Harbor. Any odea how far/long from there to the main entrance?

Not knowing where you are staying other than you saying it's near the Desert Palm, it says it's 1.7 miles from the hotel to the park entrance.

If you're really at the corner of Katella and Harbor, I'd consider it walkable; Katella and Harbor is basically at the far corner of DCA. You just have to walk to the Esplanade. Candy Cane Inn is right by there and is definitely considered walkable.

Without knowing exactly where you are, I'd have to say no more than 20 minutes. (Don't see where the 1.7 miles number came from, unless it's a different Desert Palm than I saw on the map, which is possible!).
