Park closings/Memorial Day weekend

We'll be there over Memorial Day weekend (including a few days before and a few days after).

Does anyone have experience at this time of year? Are park closings likely?

If they do close, as people leave later in the day, do they let others in that park?

Good question. I would like to know as well. We are checking in that day.. have a PS at Cinderellas Royal table for 10:00. I know we are planning on leaving to go back to our resort (and get in our room) and then go back later that evening after dinner.

We were there one Memorial day..approx 4-5 years ago. They did close MK over Memorial day weekend, due to the amount of people in the park. This was mentioned to us several times. Unfortunately, I do not know if they let more in as some leave..I would assume that they do. We have also gone down there several other Memorial day weekends and did not hear that the park closed.

I don't think park closings are likely. I have only seen them close over Christmas/Easter.

I was there 3 years ago at that time and it wasn't that bad.No park closing for us.

If possible, I would suggest doing MK early on weekdays. Go to Epcot or AK on Saturday/Sunday. MK is very crowded on weekends that time of year.
