We are thinking of going to hs. Does Disney post anywhere that they closed a park due to capacity. If we go it would be around 9 am. Do you think we would have a problem getting in.

I doubt that the park would actually reach capacity. They will use a virtual queue for Galaxy's Edge if the land reaches capacity.

What day are you thinking of? Where are you staying? Do you have an AP, multi day parkhoppers or an ADR in the park? As far as I know, Disney has phased closures for all their parks & those things are some of what determines who is admitted in the different phases.

I am staying offsite and only have a day pass

I don't think you would have a problem getting into the actual park, but it will likely feel very crowded as HS as that park just can't handle crowds as well as the other parks. Plus some might be avoiding due to the threat of the hurricane.

Just to note, off site with a single day pass seems to be the first people omitted when closures happen. But unless you are planning on going the day Rise of the Resistance opens, or Christmas Day, you are probably good.

I can't imagine it will close to capacity. We got there around noon yesterday. Park crowd level was moderate. Walked into Galaxy's Edge at 3 PM. Lots of people in there, but not bad at all.
