park capacity closing

This has just popped into my head while I was posting in another thread.

For example: If we've been in MK since first thing, we get tired, head back to Pop for a wee afternoon swim or siesta, and then go back to MK for a dinner ADR...

If the park has closed due to capacity being full, would they let us in for our dinner ADR??

Having not been to WDW at a busy time, and now going in April (Easter) next year, there are lots of things I've never had to think of before! :scared1:

If they close the park for crowd levels then an ADR will not get you in.
Although we have seen the parks close for capacity at Xmas a few times never have at Easter, not sure if they do or not. When they do close it tends to be for a few hours mid day, then re-open when people start to leave so for an evening ADR you should have no problems.

Not read it all but a thread here about it. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2215647

There are various levels for closing, they go something like this -

1. Closing to general public on day tickets

2. Closing to non resort guests with multi day/annual pass holders, so only allow WDW resorts guests

3. All closed

Although I read if a resort guest you get guaranteed admission to a park but it may not be your choice of park.

ooooooo :scared1:

OK, so if we want to do this, then we check capacity levels at guest services (or somewhere similar) before exiting the park!

Thanks guys!!!

This Easter the were several reports of MK being closed to capacity usually reopening late afternoon.

Is it just MK which does this, or should I look out for this at the other parks too?

I have only ever experienced MK & Epcot(New Years Eve) full to capacity at Xmas and none at Easter.

All the parks can close due to being full to capacity, including the water parks.
