Park bag must haves?

Band aids, hand sanitizer, sunscreen, wallet with 1 cc, drivers license, and a little cash, poncho, autograph books/pens, phone. All in a drawstring backpack.

phone chargers or backup battery
wet wipes
first aid kit (ibuprofen or acetaminophen pills, band aids, and any other medicine you might need) a couple of each is enough
poncho
sun block
snacks and water
and that's enough for a very light packed bag for a adult

Wet wipes
small bottle for water
poncho
change of socks (if wearing socks!)

I don't really pack a first aid kit anymore as I've become familiar where all the first aid stations are located. One time the employees at the first aid station gave us a fast pass because of our obvious discomfort!

The biggest MUST item for me is a water bottle. I'll refill a 20oz water bottle probably 4-5 times through the day.

Conveniences we often take are sunglass cases (especially on days starting early and ending late), hand sanitizer, snacks, cell phone battery packs

I too used to pack an extra phone charger battery, but I tend to stand on property and have found I never actually needed to use it.

I agree with the snack though, I def. left that out and like to pack snacks!!!!

Yes water bottle too! I forgot that because I often leave that in the stroller.

First aid station are wonderful, until you are in the middle of the parade or waiting for fireworks :sad2: it happens to us and was not good, since a couple of pills won't take that much space I always bring them with me

That is a very good point. A first aid kit is small enough it's probably not worth not packing one unless you are attempting to go bagless!

Water bottle (insulated) sun block phone charger extra camera battery camera snacks tissues eyeglass wipe cash cc ponchos

I don't like the string bags if they get too heavy they dig in my shoulders.

I found small cans of sunblock at Walmart. I also packed a stick sunscreen both were light.

Phones + power charger
Sunglasses
Sunscreen
Mini fans
Tissues
Hand sanitizer
Ziploc bag
Bottled water
ID + credit card/gift card

Don't use a bag. I have my cell phone in one pocket, my ID, cc, cash, AP card in another (I've ordered one of those little things that attaches to the back of my phone that will hold these things and I can just have my phone). Reading glasses around my neck, MB on my wrist or on a carabiner on a belt loop, sunglasses on face and cap on head. If it's going to be a light rain, I carry an umbrella and it has a hook I can hook it to a belt loop. If it's going to be all day gully washers, I have a clear plastic rain coat like the CMs wear that can be folded down to fit into a small bag with a clip to clip on belt loop. If I'm wearing a sundress, I try to buy ones that have pockets. Put sunscreen on before I leave the room. Get free water from CS locations.

Not much...
-small wallet with cash/CC/ID/insurance card...
-small container with various OTC medications
-small hair brush with extra hair ties
-chap stick
-portable phone charger
-phone
-poncho
-water bottle if I feel like carrying one.

I use a crossbody purse as my park bag.
Like it much more than a backpack.

poncho, hand sanitizer, moleskin (for blisters) precut into small squares & stashed in a snack-sz ziplock bag, spare socks, charger & cord & water bottle.

What time of year? That can make a big difference on what I pack in my bag or if I carry one in at all!

I would not carry a water bottle around the parks. You can go up to any place that has fountain pop and get free ice water. Most times they will have them on the counter all ready. They are plentiful and I never got thirsty the last time we were in Disney in August.
I always carry quarters and pennies for the penny stamper.
A few ziploc bags came in very handy too.

Going mid December

If you are concerned with quick park entry then skipping the bag line should be taken into consideration. I have kids, so most of the time I carry a bag - essential items, camera, ponchos if they seem like they'll be needed. Sharpie and autograph books. When we go in Dec and Feb I don't carry sunscreen - we put some on before we head out and call it done, but everyone is different.

Sometimes you don't need a bag. In the past, only a few times, I have carried my phone and credit card in my pocket and it was nice not lugging around a bag.

A foldable cloth bag comes in handy and spare hair elastic bands. Great for popping wet umbrellas or ponchos into. The hair bands keep everything together in my bag so nothing gets lost. I'm sensitive to sunlight I am thinking about picking up some broad spectrum SPF 30 or 50 on a carabiner to reapply throughout the day. Everything else is the same as the rest of you. We travel light and DH tends to take the camera and safe key and what not in his pockets. Definitely take one CC into the restaurants just in case the manic band readers are having issues and don't work properly. On that note take a slip with your ADR times and FP+ locations on in case the phone battery does die on you.
Learn the short cuts around the parks too that can help get from A-B in a hurry.
Do any of the ladies take their makeup to make touch ups during the day? I normally use very little and make sure I have a good lip balm that can double as a sunscreen on my face if the makeup gets wet or rubs off rather than lugging a big bottle with me.
