Park availability day of admission

I noticed that park availability shows up for the day of visit, i.e., tickets are available for most parks today for purchase now. Is this normally the case for most days, and if so what time of the day does WDW release availability for the current day?

The answer would be....sometimes.

There is no guarantee availability will open up or when this might happen. Some have found it's early afternoon but this too varies.

It appears Disney refreshes it's calendars at various times displaying what I would guess to be reservations that people cancel day of but there's no guarantee this will happen.

I'll be watching this too! Today, AKL opened at like noon and MK and HS at about 1. Epcot never opened.

It's almost 1 and no parks have shown any reservations in any categories for today. Maybe we will be going to Legoland.

For ticket holders and resort guests, yes this is true. They are not available for AP holders. Which is not unexpected, as AP holders attend the parks disproportionately on weekends and holidays.

Well, I’m trying to pay full price cash and there are no spots. I’m trying to decide between risking going at 1pm or just going to universal. It’s almost like Disney wants full price customers to go to universal

Praise Maui! They just shifted around some buckets and there's availability for the next week!

WDW just released more park tickets for all of June! Reserve now as I'm sure it will go fast. Good luck.
