I would love to hear what everyone does. We are flying out of Logan in 10 days and I'm not sure what we should do about parking.

Thank you!!!

I normally use a limo service to fly out of Logan, It's just so much more convenient. If you are going for any length of time it works out about the same.

If it's a short trip, I would use either Park n Fly or Logan Express. Parking at Logan is just sooooo expensive.

From Maine, there is a Logan Express in Peabody off of Rte 1

Parking is about $66.00 a wk and the bus fare is $20.00 PP RT with kids under 12 free

Being from Southern Maine originally, I'd recommend doing a limo service of some sort. I am not sure about park 'n go, but there are certainly a goodly number of services that will take you from southern Maine to Logan when you want to get there. Parking at Logan is pretty pricey, tho it is awefully convenient to have your car already there on the return trip.

Of course, when my parents come to fly out of Logan, they drive down, spend the night with us, then I drive them into Logan, or they take the T.

Good luck!

Not sure what time your flight leaves but here is what we do. We live on Cape Cod so our drive to Logan is about 1 to 1 1/2 hours depending on traffic and time of day, probably similar to what you do from the other direction depending on where you live in Maine. For our last 4 or 5 trips we have stayed overnight at the Holiday Inn (also have tried the Hyatt and Hilton, like the Holiday Inn the best) and left our car there. The room was $149.00 plus tax and for our 18 day trip was actually cheaper than parking anywhere else. The Park'n'Fly rate includes 10 days of parking and they did not charge us for the extra days.It is very convenient and relieves the stress of driving to Logan on the am of our trip. We always take an early flight so we get to WDW early!!! We have also parked at Logan and at Park and Fly. Logan is the most cash but nice to get off the plane and just get in your car and go home. Park and Fly probably the cheapest for a trip of about a week or so but you have to shuttle over there, not too bad but by then you just want to get home.

We have used the Economy lot at Logan in the past. It was fine. A little bit of a hike but their shuttle buses run frequently. We have used Central Parking and while very convenient, it is expensive!!! My dh has used the Logan Express bus from Framingham in the past. But I have dropped him off and picked him up so there hasn't been any parking expense. And he has had only a carry-on bag so not much baggage.

This trip, like the last, we'll be using Knights Shuttle. It's more than using the economy lot but we don't want to take the chance of having to shovel off our car when we get home.

So, I guess it depends on where you are coming from. If it's a long drive I would go with staying in a hotel that offers free parking, like the Holiday Inn at Logan.

We are also trying to decide where to leave the car this trip. We used Park n Go a couple of years ago, and it was just fine. The economy lot at Logan is about the same price, so we may try that this time. I printed up a map from the website, looks easy enough to get to. We are a group of 7 this trip, so doing a limo back and forth would cost way more than parking for 8 days.

DisneyFreak43....just be aware that it is further away than the map shows!!! I also thought it would be really simple to get to. Thank God my dh was driving....otherwise I'd still be driving around looking!!!! It seemed to be pretty well marked but is was somewhat convoluted. Hang in there and you will find it!!!

We are staying at the Holiday Inn Express the night before our flight for a price of $129.00 that includes 14 or 21 days of parking "can't remember exactly". We are going for 12 days so this is alot cheaper than paying for parking at Logan and we will be rested for our early morning flight. This will be our first time relying on a shuttle.

Goofy4tink- Thanks for the heads-up on the economy lot. I will navigate while dh drives! We have a 7pm flight, otherwise we would have done a Park'n'Fly. Trying Song for the first time- the boys are looking forward to the tv's!
