My family of four with kids ages 6 & 9 are staying at AKL November 13th-17th(midweek).We will be visiting MK and AK on single day passes. I've read that parks with magic hours are much more crowded. I am wondering if this holds true for mid November.Since we will not be able to park hop,we have to choose wisely.
Also any suggestions for affordable activities at DW outside the parks would be appreciated! A disney rookie thanks you!

The month of November can be as crowded as any other month. I don't usually do the extra hours in the am. but I am sure that it would bring in more people than usual. As far as affordable activities in Disney outside of the parks, you can take the children to the nightly campfire and sing along in Fort wilderness. It is free and they show a nightly Disney movie and roast marshmallows around the campfire. You do have to bring your own marshmallows or buy them at the campfire. Fort Wilderness also has some small pets that you can visit in their little zoo.
