I asked you there, but I'll ask here too as I'll forget to look over there.

If you've ever dined at Bongo's how did it compare? We haven't been too thrilled with Bongo's. I like their media noche, but that's about it. Their Sangria is downright nasty.

Thanks for the review though! (Can't say we'll be rushing to try the place).

I think it's actually a crime to charge for chips and salsa in Texas and New Mexico.

Well, since we have the same opinion of Bongo's that just reinforces my thought that we won't be rushing to the new place.

Ironically we went to Abuello's tonight, had just about the same thing!

One drink each, one entre each, FREE chips and salsa, and the bill, without a discount was $10 cheaper!

You know its really sad they cant turn out decent hispanic food. Up here in Deltona you cant find any good hispanic food anymore or the health reports are so bad you wouldn't go in. Hopefully they'll get it staightened out. Sounds like your experience was similar to our Wolfgang Puck exp a few years back, $200 later and we could have had a better meal at Golden Corral steak house..

I looked over the menu on AllEars and didn't see anything that sounded good, so we weren't planning to go anyway. Glad to know we aren't missing out on something fabulous!

Oh gosh, Puck's has really fallen off. It used to be our stand by place for when we wanted to have a decent meal, but didn't really know what we wanted. Or, for when we had guests who had a variety of preferences. Puck's used to be a great choice. We ate there for the first time in quite awhile just a few weeks back. Ugh. I don't know what happened, but we would have been better off with a Publix rotisserie chicken and premade salad. Won't be going back there again, any time soon.

Last time (and it will be the LAST time) I went to Pucks, the entree's hit the table, and the check hit the table one minute later!

I looked at my friends and said "Guess we don't want coffee or desert!"

Don't rush me out the door, cuz once I leave I wont be back!

If you're willing to schlep on over to Winter Garden for dinner, we've found a couple of Mexican restaurants we really like. And we're hard to please when it comes to Mexican food. I grew up on Colorado and New Mexico and then lived in Texas, and Scott grew up in California.

The restaurant Mike mentioned, Abuelos, is near the Loop in Hunter's Creek and is another that we really like.
