Paridise Pier Hotel Pool

We will be at Pacific Pier Hotel Dec 7th through the 11th. Does anyone know if the pool indoor at Pacific Pier? Is there a hot tub and is it indoors? Also what is the weather like in California in December. (Only 2 1/2 weeks away, WOO Hoo.) Should we have coats or will jackets and sweat shirts be enough? Thanks so much.

We just returned this week from a 4 night stay at Paradise Pier Hotel. We loved it! We were a bit bummed when we arrived and found the pool was being rehabbed, but we got a dip in on the last day. As far as I know there is no indoor pool. The pool and hottub we went in is on a rooftop on the 3rd floor. It was very pleasant. We also had a nice time watching the fireworks from the hottub. We just happened to be soaking when the show went on over the castle. Very nice. When we were there it was overcast for most of the time and we were glad to have brought sweatshirts for day and fleece jackets for evening. My advice would be to dress in layers. Most days I was pretty comfortable in a long sleeved t-shirt and jeans or cotton pants. We would go back to the room in mid afternoon to rest and add more layers. Have a great time!!

did you think it was warm enough for shorts during the day or

<font face="Comic Sans MS"><font color=#00009c>Lately, the weather can be a little unpredictable here in California. A typical morning might need a sweatshirt and long pants, and then for a few hours you can walk in t-shirts and shorts, and then in the evening put on a light jacket, etc.

But, you might come during the Sta Ana's - These are winds from the desert area and the days can get up to the 80's...

Then again, it could be raining when you get here. We usually get a spurt of rain for a week in December.
