So what are yours like?

My mom is such a great person and will do anything for me but she can also be embarrassing. My dad on the other hand is so cool. He thinks he's old and "lame" but hes cooler then some of my friends LOL

Well.
My dad has my sense of humor. He's cool. My friends thinks he's hilarious. Although I don't talk to him about everything, we're still really close. I make an effort to talk to him about stupid things. We also hold some of the same interests, and like the same types of movies.

My mom's quite motherly; she worries over like, everything. She's insanely organized. Her humor scale is nil, though. But, she's like, my best friend. I can tell her anything and she's given me advice. Heck, if my friends have a problem, they'll tell me to ask her for her input.

I'd be here forever trying to talk about them.
I love my parents so much.

same with my mom, except my friends dont find her cool and they think she's way too strict

I love my parents, I wouldn't change them out for anyone. My mom will do anything for me, too, and is always just loving and caring, never mean. My dad is the same, and I can talk to them about anything (Mostly my mom though, just easier. I guess its a girl thing) At times my mom can be embarassing, but what parent isn't? I love my mom and dad :)

Well, my dad's dead.

My mom is pretty much the reason awesome is a word. She was a rebel when she was younger (she rolled with the hell's angels and left home at 17), and she got my grandpa's intellect (who was an aeronautical engineer and in MENSA), so she's incredibly smart. She thinks fart jokes are hilarious, she talks to the dog, and she started acting all stoned when we watched Pineapple Express. She let my best friend move in with us, and they hang out all the time while I'm at work, watching movies or going shopping.

I love my parents, they just... annoy me.
I'm the kind of person who wants to be left alone, I don't really like dealing with other people. My mom, insists she always has to know EVERYTHING going on in my life. I don't like her being in my business all of the time. I feel she feels like she needs to know everything, even thing I want to keep to myself. I know why she is like this, because her mom never talked to her when she was my age, and she wants me to have someone to talk to. My dad... well. hes deffinatly the "fun parent." all of my friends laugh at all of his comments and is easy on me. He really doesnt bother me when I don't want to be bothered. He takes me to fun places and lets me have things my mother does not. I really do love both of them, but we don't always get along...

My parents are pretty chill. Except, they're embarrasing as heck!

My mom will totally bring up the most unappropriate conversations in the middle of a crowded place. For instance, I said that for an after-prom thing some friends and I were going to come back to the camp and have an over-night movie day. She said "there'll be no boys in that camp! I don't want any of you getting pregnant!" very very loudly in the middle of a track meet at Javelin (everybody's quiet at throwing events so as to not break the concentration of the thrower). What I don't get, though, is how it's OK for boys to be there during the day, but somehow them being there at night changes everything?! She does buy me perfume, though.

My dad is pretty lax about everything. If I tell him I'm going out or going to be late because I'm hanging out with my friends he's totally OK with it. I do feel bad going out on days when my mom's not home, though. I feel like I'm just abandoning him to sit at home alone, so I try to not plan things for those days.
