Parents - What would you do?

My DS is missing the 1st 5 days of his school year. We were kind of limited to going at this time. I have spoken to the school administrators and the plan is to take his work with us to do on the way down and on the way back. That way he doesn't get behind and it helps pass the time on the trip!

Not to Disney but for a once in a lifetime trip. We actually went for 5 weeks. We used 2 weeks of Christmas break and 3 after that. My oldest was in kindergarden at the time. The teacher gave him work to do and everything went really well and we don't feel bad at all.
