LOL I just watched "Leave it to Beaver" and June just came down the stairs after "straightening up the boy's room" She came out with 1 pair of pants (folded) and a piece of rope!!

I'm sure my kids' rooms would be knee deep in clutter if we allowed it. But we don't! They are not allowed to leave beds unmade, clothes on the floor, or clutter on dresser tops. Waste baskets must be emptied twice a week on garbage collection days. They are not naturally neat and they don't enjoy cleaning or appreciate a clean room.
They may write a tell-all book about dad and I someday, but for now we have clean bedrooms!
