Hi all,

I'm in a bit of a quandry here  My DS will be around 4-5 years old when we go to DLP and i have a few questions, if you all don't mind.

I would really like to see the xmas stuff, but is it cold in early november - my son is not really keen on clothes :teeth: and i worry that he would not really enjoy his time there.

But if i take him when it is warmer, june/sept - fantasmic is not running :sad1:

What do you all think ? We would probably stay at the DLH or NY - or possibly at the Cheyenne if the buses are regular/or the weather was warm enough to walk !

Sorry about the questions, it is just there is sooooooo much choice - what do other parents of little ones decide ?????

Thanks,
em

Hey em,

there is no need to say sorry. Everyone really likes it to get in touch with disneyrelatet persons all over the world and answer there questions.

Welcome on the board. :wave2:

My son is seven and loves DLRP in every season and at every temperature.

Five years is a brilliant age for all the disneymagic.

I would recomend the Cheyenne to you because it is great for little boys to be in the wild west during the stay and the buses are running every 10 minutes. It is also a nice walk from the hotel to the parks when the weather is good.

They don´t have fantasmic in Paris and the Fantilusion-Parade only runs in the High-Season when the park is closing late.

If there are any other questions you have just post it.

Hi Em and welcome! Fantillusion usually runs during the Christmas season too. I'm sure your son will love DLP at any time of year!!

Hi and Welcome,
Hotel Cheyenne is great for lille ones and the shuttle buses are very regular.

The Cold!!!!? I don't know how cold it is in November, but February was very cold and if your youngster doesn't like wearing clothes - he might be a bit miserable........but maybe its not that cold in November. If you're well wrapped up, its brilliant whatever season you pick to go!!

That's a good point Kaye. The beginning of November was good temperature-wise last year. Cold but not too cold and you get all the benefits of the Christmas season.

Di, I'm really glad to hear that - because I think our next trip I would love to see the Christmas season, but I can't face the cold - so that could be a good compromise!

We have been late november 2005 with our 2 1/2 daugther and it was cold.
Until 5 it was ok because sun was shinning, but after that time it was very cold. We had chosen also november because I want to see Fantilusion but I can't stand huge crowds and High season in summer is not for me. Finally, we only saw once due to the weather. At 6 we usually come back for a rest at the SL (some drink at the bar or a little swim at the pool).

I think your DS will love all the thrill of Christmas in spite of being wrapped up.
We when with our troops (see photo link) and in spite of DD having a similar dislike of anything touching her skin was fine.
It was definitely not as cold as we had expected in the middle of November.
