We have 1 night out without kids. What restaurant would you recommend?

California Grille can be so romantic . If you should chose CG, then see if you can request a table by the window to see all of the "WORLD" all lite up at night. If they do not take requests over the phone, they will take them when you go for your ressie, you may have to wait a few minutes for a "requested" view BUT well worth the wait.

Not snotty at all! I just wanted to know your price range so I could offer some choice within it. But since it isn't an issue, I would like to suggest Victoria & Alberts at the Grand Floridian...very romantic... the menu changes daily here but we've gone twice and were very pleased, i think you will love it too!

California Grill!!! We went as a whole family last July by doubling up some of our DDP credits, and we all enjoyed it. But next time DH and I want to go alone because it is a very nice place with amazing food and it can be romantic. And the view - phew!

V & A's is the most renowned and upscale on WDW property. Certainly can't go wrong there. Citrico's usually gets high marks, as well. Since no one else has done so yet, I'll recommend Artist Point. Sublime restaurant with superb service and excellent food; the ambience is warm and romantic, though some would say slightly rustic in nature. Get a window seat and you can view the lake, lights, geyser, etc. After dinner, take a stroll around the grounds--the Lodge is a sight to behold unto itself. Check out their menu (and the others) before you decide.

Over near the Epcot side you also have Flying Fish which has a beautiful open kitchen and fresh fish choices each day. Service is just right and decor is funky. Food here was wonderful. Yachtsman is a great steakhouse where everyone dresses a little nicer and the food here is wonderful as well. We haven't tried Todd English's Bluezoo yet but our friends just returned from their Feb. trip and they had their grownup night out there and are still raving about it. Good Luck choosing.

I loved V & A and put our DD into the kids club. She will be too old at 13 this year and are taking our friends with us (all the way from UK) who have kindly agreed to look after her one night so we can go back to V & As. Can't wait.

Jiko or Citrico's. My two favorite places on property - great food and service at both and neither is as hectic or crowded as CG can get.

Artist Point at Wilderness Lodge. Great service and the food is excellent. The filet was so tender and just melted in your mouth. The atmosphere was just what we wanted. We ate at California Grill a few nights prior to Artist Point and lets just say I have no desire to ever eat there again. The view was about the only thing we enjoyed. It was absolutely the worst service we have ever had. I could go on and on, but I'll stop. Good luck deciding which restaurant to choose.

You may also want to take into consideration of where your children will be? Do you have an in-room sitter or are you doing the Disney ones? (For the life of me I can't remember what they are called or their locations, I know GF does one Poly and maybe the BC/YC).....that may aid in your decision.

I can't believe no one has suggested Jiko, it and V&A would be my top two suggestions. The food is amazing at both and the atmosphere at both lends itself to romance.

My first choice would be Victoria & Alberts. If you want to spend a little less & have fabulous food in a contemporary sexy chic environment, head over to Todd English BlueZoo at the Dolphin.

California Grill gets my vote. We have gone there the past two visits to WDW without the kids (they went to a kids club and had a great time), requested and were seated at a window table. I've loved everything we've eaten there and the service was excellent. We watched the Magic Kingdom fireworks from our table while eating dessert, magical!
