Parents night out? Art of Animation

Hello all, hoping someone can help me out. It would be nice if one evening my husband and I could have a dinner or something together kids-free. What sort of group activities on Disney properties are available like that? I don't want a babysitter, and I feel better with a group type setting. I know the nicer resorts have these I don't think AoA does, is it possible to use other resort properties? Is there a restaurant with this?

Like to do you can try to find the closet club! I've never used one because I never considered it before I made plans but I certainly would without hesitation. Disney does such a wonderful job planning things to the T!

We have used all the facilities, except the one at Grand Floridian. They are all fantastic. You do not need to be staying at that resort to use them.

We just choose the one that is most convenient to what our plans are for the evening - Beach Club if we are hitting the Boardwalk, etc.

My boys love them all - they have a lot of fun, good downtime, and interact with some other kids. They area always sad when we show up to get them at the end of the night, ha ha!

Anyone can use the Kids Clubs at the resorts - you don't have to be staying there. The cost just went up recently; I think it's now about $12/child/hour with a 2-hr minimum. Kids ages 3-12 are welcome - younger ones must be potty-trained (no pull-ups).

We left our kids when they were like 8 & 5 at the Beach Club's Sandcastle Club. We had dinner on the Boardwalk, then went into Epcot to browse World Showcase without having to say, "don't touch that" a million times and watch Illuminations. The kids had a great time at the SC - they played board and video games with the CMs, did crafts, watched a movie, had dinner and a snack. I'd definitely leave them again.

My DS enjoyed the Sandcastle Club so much that he can't wait to go back this year! My friends and I will enjoy some adult time at the Boardwalk while DS gets a break from his parents!
