parents anniversary first day at WDW

We will be checking in at POP, visiting the MK and having dinner at Crystal Palace. I know my dad mentioned it on their room ressie but what can I do to make their first day in WDW be even more special since it's their anniversary? Will the Crystal Palace do a cake if I call and request one? We are on the dining plan so how will that change things?

Im fairly sure you can order a cake for Crystal Palace. They just charge you for the cake. Also you can pick up 2 free Anniversary badges at City Hall when you arrive and they can wear these around.
