So this morning we had a little incident that can best be described as a silly (dumb?!) husband story. I will share mine, I am still not over it, but I thought other people must have theirs to share.
This morning I get up with DD age 1 1/2 like any other morning. I go to get her out of her crib and she is soaking wet, but still fully dressed. So I figured, Wow, she really peed last night. No big deal. I pull off her pajama pants, entirely soaked. The onesie was also totally soaked. And do you want to know why? When my darling husband got her dressed for bed last night (I was out picking up Chinese take out for our dinner) he neglected to put a DIAPER on her
. I have no idea how he managed to forget it, but he did. So I woke him up (he works third shift) to give her a bath while I cleaned everything out in her room, and I do mean everything! I can't stop laughing, I really don't know how he managed to forget that, it is pretty important.

I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt too. I did look to see if somehow she had thrown the diaper out of the crib, although if she had pulled it off she wouldn't have been wearing any clothes (been there, done that a few times). I should have made DH clean it up, but he was half asleep (he sleeps during the day and works overnights). I'm just glad he actually bathed the baby, not the cat or something.
