The asides were very aparent this time around. I think their use is absolutely deliberate. The editorial staff wants us to remember how "in" we are as a result of our membership. They even let us in on the cool inside jokes and information.

I'm FINALLY one of the cool Kids?? Wicked awesome.

No flames here either, but I really enjoy it too. If I can read something that gives me a little chuckle, then I am all for it. I sure don't get that reading the newspaper these days.

I have to say this is an argument that I can see both sides of. I enjoy reading DizFiles a lot ( I am a parenthesis fan ), but after I'm done I always feel a little let down. I am left hungering for more solid information.
