I just got my desktop computer fixed and I wanted to know if anybody has any type of parental controls in place on their computer? If so, what and how do I do this?
. I want to do as much as possible to prevent the harddrive from crashing again. Also, I want to come up with a list of No No's(rules) for the computer use and this will be put in a place where everyone can see it. For example, 1. Do not download, install, or delete anything on this computer WITHOUT PERMISSION!(That's a very big issue in our house). 2. No eating/drinking of any kind around the computer at any time.(Also another issue). You would think you shouldn't have to say these common sense things but with kids you never know. Feel free to add to this list with some of the rules you have in place. I want to make it look really pretty and to stand out on paper. My creative juices aren't flowing right now so any suggestions would help as well. Ok that's enough to soak in for now. Look forward to your responses/ideas. You guys are great.
Edited to add: This list is mainly for the stepkids ages 11 & 13. I watch/help dd5 use it.
