Hello Fellow WDW Fans,

I've been a lurker here for awhile, and now I need a little help. My family went to Disney every year when I was a child, but it has been several years since we've gone to visit again. We've decided to plan another trip for this summer, and it happens that this trip coincides with my parents 30th anniversary. We already have dinner reservations at Narcoosee's for the night of their anniversary, and we timed it so we are there for the fireworks. However, that being said, I REALLY want to plan a great surprise for them. Something to show them how much I appreciate what wonderful parents they've been, and something they would completely not be expecting. Can anyone think of anything I could do while down there, or that day, that would be extra special?

Much thanks in advance,
Kim

Make sure to get the anniversary buttons at Guest Services at whichever park you're in that day. Although it's something small, they will receive anniversary wishes throughout the day from both guests and CM's. :)

Send them a basket!

There are a number of great services that will deliver a basket of goodies to your parents.

A Dis member here, Feral Peg makes baskets. Her site is:

And another person several Dis Members use is Betsey at

www.memoriesbybetsy.com

Another suggestion is to have a cake sent to the table for their anniversary. You can find info on how to do that on this thread:

Good luck..I hope you and your parents have a wonderful trip!

Thank you for the help. And that cake thread! Amazing. I will definitely be calling to order a cake to surprise them at the table.

Thank,
Kim

During our past Christmas trip to Disney, it was my wife's and mine 33rd anniv. Make sure that they get the anniv buttons. We had them on all day and everytime we meet a CM they would wish us a happy anniv. Really nice!

When you made your resort and dining reservations, I hope you told them that it was your parents anniv, espically dinning. When you check in at the podium, remind them about the anniv. They usually will do something nice for them during dinner.

Last but not least, I sent my wife a dozen red roses from the Disney Florist. They were beautiful!! We weren't there when they delivered them, so they set them on the dinning room tabe, we had a GV at BWV, and when we walked in there they stood.
