Hi all!

I'm looking at the Paradise Pier Hotel to possibly stay and I have one thought.

Does the Paradise Pier Hotel have a DCA entrance like the Grand Californian? Thank you in advance.

No, it doesn't. The shortest way to get to the parks is by crossing the street in front of the PPH and cut through the GCH. You can use their private entrance, or go into DTD to get to DL.

PP has it's own entrance, but it is across the street from the hotel (due to the geography of the land and streets). You enter right behind Mulholland Madness.

Unfortunately, that entrance has been closed for a few years. The quickest way is to go through the Grand and use their entrance, as DangerMouse stated. Be sure to splurge for the view room at PP. Other than a DTD room at the Grand, the park view room at PP is my fav! Have a great trip.:)

Back when PP did have the entrance, how did that work? Was there a special crossing or something?

Yes the entrace was right across the street. You would then walk down a cement path that was bordered by beatuiful flowers. It was almost a hidden entrance blink and you could miss it. There was never a line -- well maybe 3 or 4 ppl in the morning but since DCA opened later not sure how impressed I should have been with that. The same Cast member was there every day of our trip. She was so sweet but you could see she was totally bored.

I find that if I stay at PP going across street and in front door of GC gets me to maim gates fast. I am sorry to have to walk thru the hotel------ but----- they took away the entrance for PP.

I would really doubt they will bring the old entrance back any time soon, but you never know.

I think I even have some pictures of the gate ---

OKS Bumperhoot I will get husband looking thru our pictures to find that few that I took. Not sure how long it will take. I need to take a class at the college on how to post pictures fo the internet. I totally get confused.
