Parc Saturé - Full up today

Should I worry about the weekend before Christmas this year? We have all day Friday and most of Monday as well but had hoped to get some things done Saturday and Sunday. Wouldn't feel safe taking my sister into the crowds I saw in photos today. :confused3

OMG this is crazy!!! Is this really just because of the CE tickets??? I'm arriving next Sunday, I hope it goes down by then. How bad are the week days at the moment?

Same here, what time do you arrive?

We have booked sunday brunch so we'll go straight there after we have checked in at the Kyriad and won't be in the park before 4pm or so i think, my idea is to go straight to the Studios as that will be the only availiable day for Rock 'n Roller Coaster (closed for refurbishment in the next days) hopefully will be able to ride it that day and hit the main park on monday...

I just realized that I haven't looked up whats closed for refurbishment. Thanks for reminding me. I want to ride RnRC as well before it closes.

I guess that going in the week days at this time is a very good idea.

could this be happening before Easter too? With SF and Cheyenne fully booked? And the upcoming event on last weekend of March ?

I hope and pray not !!

Same dates for me.

:scared1::crowded::scared1:

By the way: Which upcoming event ?

Cheerleading something. This is way I couldn't book 7 nights, because SF and Cheyenne were fully booked for the weekend.

Wow, that is crazy. We just got back from DLP/Paris yesterday and now I’m really glad we spent our day in Paris on Saturday. We arrived early Thursday morning and were able to ride pretty much everything at DLP with very little wait. On Friday we spent the day at WDS and the longest line was for ToT, about 45 minutes. Ratatouille standby was only a 5 min wait not too long after park opening. On Sunday morning it was noticeably more crowded, we had a 60 wait for Crush at WDS when the park opened. After that we left for Paris and came back in the evening when droves of people were exiting the parks.

You planned that well.

OMG this is terrifying.

I make so many ad hoc trips to DLP with my AP and while I usually stay onsite, I stayed offsite at a partner hotel on my last trip...so what if I turned up and it was like this I wouldn't get entry because I am a regular (i.e no dated ticket and offsite)?! Something about that stinks - talk about not looking after your loyal customers.

Someone on Twitter mentioned today that the parks are expected to be very busy again this weekend.

I agree in some respects and others I don't. AP buyers know the deal during busy times, and all the exclusions.

When people buy a package holiday in the EU. They have massive rights. So you buy an onsite stay with tix included. That's what you get. They can't say you can't access the park when buying a package.

Well if they did, people could sue Disney or their travel company and win hands down. Plus people who book as a package onsite, or onsite hotels only are generally paying a premium to those who have AP. As it's more expensive per visit.

I've never known Christmas weekends to be so busy. So glad I've booked a mid-week December trip next year.

One the risks of having an AP and staying off site is knowing on high capacity days you might not be able to get in. But most smart AP holders have a Dream Pass and this gets you into the park for EMH. Guess those going at this time of year already know this and get there for park opening at 8am to make sure they get in.

Just to check if I understand this right:

They will let you inside the park if you have an AP (Francilien) and/or tickets and stay onsite ?

:confused3

yes, as you are an onsite hotel guest :).

Ok Thanks....ähm..any time or only EMH ? Sorry

:confused3

any time as far as i'm aware - but personally speaking, if i saw those signs up as i was approaching the parks, i'd want to avoid the parks altogether, maybe go relax in the DLH bar, or the Village shops etc, until later in the park day. I don't like crowded theme parks of any description, Disney included.

Does anybody know what the crowd levels have been like today ?? Also what was the week days like last week? We are due to arrive next Sunday/Monday and the crowd levels are making me anxious.
I was hoping it would be quiet before the schools where out :(
