Hi All, I should know this as we spent a week in Paris not so long ago....but how far is this from the Eiffel tower? It looks not far at all on the map....good Sunday stroll, or that deceptive and we would need transport????

Any advice, we booked Sunday afternoon at a restaurant here :thumbsup2

It's in the suburbs (Issy les Moulineaux) so it's a fair walk.

Doable but not as close as you think I guess

You are looking at an hour or so as it's about 5km :goodvibes

My son's just said the distances are always way more than they look on google maps :rotfl2:
He thinks there is a tram we can get, I'll have a look see. Do you know if it's a nice area for exploring Carrie? The restaurant looks lovely http://www.restaurant-lile.com/

There's a tram stop but it won't take you to the ET. The trams go round parts of the city at the outer limits and then the suburbs

You've got the RER C that goes from over there to Champ de Mars — Tour Eiffel - It won't take more than 10 mins that way

I haven't been over there in years (I lived for 6 months in Issy back in 91-92) but it does look rather nice with all its different gardens :goodvibes
