It's a couple blocks from Sea World, on I-Drive (the nice part of I-Drive, not the crowded, sleazier-by-the-day northern half). 10 minutes from Disney as well.

2 miles from SW I clocked it today.

There is a hotel across the street. Winn Dixie around the corner, Walmart up the road-nothing within easy walking distance.

As far as safe, I have no idea-but I will say it is set far back from the road.

I stayed there 9 years ago, I don't know if it has changed but we didn't like the place. The breakfast was poor and the rooms although large weren't as clean as other hotels.

Check out the Sea World partner hotels Spring Hill is new and across the street close to Aquatica, Hilton Garden is close, too. Both offer good prices most of the time. They are the 2 I would stay at if not staying at the Renai ssance which is right across from parking lot.
