We're doing an unexpected trip down to Orlando for Thanksgiving for a Thanksgiving Family Reunion. :cool1: We're staying at the Parc Corniche, how is it?

Thanks for any comments!

We stayed there years ago and didn't like it. We cut our stay short and went someplace else.
The tripadvisor.com website is a good place to read reviews. Some folks find it good and some are disgusted by it. The pool is really small.

Some friends of mine (a couple with 2 kids) stayed there at Sept 2001 and they liked it. We went there 2 times to met them and one day we walked there to visit the place.

The suites are spacious, clean and well-equiped. THe furniture, refrigerators, bathrooms were all new.

They liked the breakfast served at the restaurant and I know that they come back there in 2003 and still liked it.

Thanks! I went and looked at the reviews. We're going to chance it since the other hotel we can choose is considerably higher ($400). I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it will work out :earsgirl:

Did you try and it and how did you find it then? We are going soon (in 2007) and curious to your opinion

You can book them at Hotel Kingdom.com for a realy good price. It is a very clean resort for a older one.

Kaz65 - we loved it! The suites were just the right size, the price was right and it was centrally located. We actually got a 3rd floor suite so we didn't have anyone above us so I can't tell you if that was noisy. My DDs loved the continental breakfast.

Since we went during Thanksgiviing and the weather was kind of cool we didn't try the pool but saw it. It looked small but hey, it's a pool to cool off - we're not picky.

My DH even said that we should consider staying there next time we go down and he's usually pretty picky.

Hope you have a good experience!

Thanks so much - that is very reassuring. Will also request a third floor I think and so long as clean and comfortable that is all that really matters as we will be in parks most of every day anyway
