Has anyone ever done parasailing from the comtempoary? If so does anyone
know what age you have to be ( for a tandem?) :cold: More snow coming!!!!!!!!!!!
:hourglass 45 more days, till WDW :goodvibes

I haven't done it yet but plan to do it in July, on the info they sent me it doesn't have an age requirement. it says...."Parasail excursions are available daily for single or double riders. There is a minimum weight of 100 lbs and a max weight of 350 lbs." you might want to try www.sammyduvall.com since that is the company who does it at the contemporary resort. hope it helps!!

I just checked their website, and now I really can't wait to do it! it looks awsome! btw, it says there is no age limit!

My son and his girlfriend did it last July. They're 16 and 18. The girlfriend's 18 believe it or not! They really loved it! Did it tandem and thought it was one of the best times of the trip. We didn't even have to be with them. They just charged it to the room. They went with two other couples on board.

My daughter and I did last summer. She is 7 yrs old and absolutely loved it. There are no age restrictions just the weight requirement. She only weighed 40 lbs at the time but, dear old dad weighs a bit more LOL. i would highly recommend this for anyone. Very smooth and just enjoyable.

Hi!

I have not done parasailing but my DS (9) asked me if he can go on it. I thought he was too young but when I checked their website there is no age limit... :Pinkbounc

I'm seriously going to look into it and reserve it.

Thanks!
Ely

Oh my husband is going to be so excited, he wants to take my 8yo daughter on the tandem! Is this something you should call ahead and book or is it pretty much open? And my son and I can also be on the boat? (he is 4yo and loves boats!) I hope it works out cause this sounds like a lot of fun! :Pinkbounc

We didn't book ahead when the kids went but we had the concierge desk call on Monday and the first slot they had open was on Thursday. It might pay to book ahead if you want a particular day.

It was $149 for the two teens to go tandem last July.

Depending on the season you should call ahead about a week before you want to go. This way you can pick a good time for you. We went at 10:30 am. Ate breakfast at Chef Mickey's, then casually walked around Cont. then out to get ready for flight. Need to show up 30 min before time.
