My dad and I are looking forward to parasailing while at Castaway Cay. Mom, on the other hand, doesn't do heights, although she wants to watch us. Is it possible for her to ride along in the boat even if she isn't going to parasail? Or would we have to pay the extraordinary amount for her as well? Do they allow you to bring a guest along so that your party doesn't have to separate? Thanks, everyone!

This is only a guess, but I'm sure your Mom would have to pay full price to go. Otherwise the boat operators would be lose a seat for a paying customer. I hope this does not stop you and your Dad from going. It is a great time.

In our case, we are doing a 'non' Disney Parasailing excursion in St Thomas. For guests who prefer to only 'look' it is $10 to ride on the boat.

At Castaway Cay only those going up can go on the boat. They might let her on if she does pay the price of someone going up. When I did it back in May I was alone and DH stayed on the Wonder. He was hoping to get some shots with the camcorder but they took us really far out. I had read here on the board to bring 2 disposable cameras - one to take up with me and one to give to someone on the boat to snap a few pictures. That worked out great!

There is only room on the parasailing boats for about 6 people. This excursion does fill up fast because of the limited space. But it doesn't hurt to call DCL and asks.
