I want to schedule a parasailing for my DH for Father's Day. We will be there in July and it will be hot. The rest of the family will want to watch so I want to schedule it at a good time. We want to do FP+s in the morning but would it be too hot to do it in a hot, July afternoon?

Is the waiting area shaded?

How long does the experience take?

Are there daily afternoon thunderstorms in July to be concerned about?

Thanks!

Hi Claudia, great to see you. A great Father's Day gift for Jim. Always look for rain in July, though short generally. If threatening, they won't go out. It's at the marina at the Contemporary. Out on the dock, no real shade to speak of. Where the dock area starts, a few snack areas and ticket area that have a bit of shade.

My two, Vince and Natalie, did a tandem back years ago, seemed to recall they were up about 10 minutes, total boat time maybe 15 minutes or so. They throughly enjoyed the experience, Marie and I enjoyed watching from the ground. I bet Jim would love it.

10% DVC and AP discounts.

Still doing the candy? Hope you, Jim and all the family are doing well.
