Parasailing on St. Thomas - Need Advice

Hi Everyone,

I've tried searching and cannot find any previous posts with the answer(s), so here is my question.

We are going on the Magic's Eastern cruise in August, and want to try parasailing. I've done enough research to find that St. Thomas is the best place, especially for first-timers. I'm not a fan of shore excursions through the cruise and prefer to book stuff myself.

Question is- any advice on what company to use on St. Thomas? Should I book in advance or just take my chances when we get there? (I've read several reviews that just say to show up. I'm not really comfortable with that because I'm an "over-preparer".)

Bumping this up ... has anyone parasailed on St. Thomas? Any advice?

An alternative is to parasail on Castaway Cay, but I already scheduled something else so I may not have time.

Can't help ya for 2 1/2 weeks we're sailing June 6-13 and plan on parasailing at Castaway Cay- try reading some trip reports might help

I don't know anything about St. Thomas but we've done parasailing at CC twice and plan to do it again on our 3rd cruise in December! They do a great job and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
