We have decdied to try parasailing this trip (Magic Western March 13/04) and thought we would do it on CC. But saw that it is 1/2 the price on key West and this is very intriguing to me, not only for the cost (there are 4 of us going) but also sicne we have 2 DD age 10, and DNephew 12, have not been overly thrilled about what i have read so far re Key West.

Has anyone done the parasailing in Key West, and if so how did it work out? I think their web site is www.furycat.com, and you get it at the Hilton by the Harbour. Does any one know any other location?

Thanks for the help

Debbie

We did it. The office is a 5 minute walk from the ship, and the boat is right at the end of the dock. My family loved it, and got "dunked" several times. My twins are 10 and wanted to do it again.

thanks so much. My dd is 10 and dniece will be 10 at time of our cruise, and they really want to try this. Were you able to notice any differences between the parasailing in Key West and the one on CC? How long are you up in the air for, and how many on the boat at once. How long are you out on the water for?

Thanks Debbie

If you call the people at Fury they will answer all of your questions. They were a nice group of people. I want to say total time was just under an hour, but that includes the time it takes to get out into the water. We didn't see them parasailing at CC. Make sure you take a disposable camera with you. My kids got pictures of the Magic from way up. They were the only people on the boat when they went. Sorry I can't answer your questions better, I was shopping while the twins and DH went up.:)
