My DH and DD will do parasailing in CC and I really would like to capture this memory. Could my DS 10 and I get to go in the boat to watch them and take pictures? Is there a CM that takes pictures on their excursions in CC? Our family of 4 is also doing the banana boat ride and would like to have picture taken also...

I think only the people going parasailing can get on the boat!
I'm sure other people on there woud be happy to take pics for you.
I hope your boat does not get cancelled like my daughters!
Her boat was the only boat that did not get to go that day.
All they could give us for an explanation was "the boat won't be ready for awhile so the 11:30am boat is not going"!

Good luck!

Unless you want to pay the parasailing fee for your DS they will not allow him onboard. At least that was the case when I went. You could ask a fellow "parasailer" to take your picture, or you could do what I did and take the camera up with you and take pictures looking down. Definitely a great experience! Something I hope to do again on our October 23 western caribbean cruise. Provided that CC is open for business.

Other people on the boat are happy to take pictures for you. Also take a disposable camera up there to capture great shots of the ship and the island. You can also go onto Deck 10 of the ship and get some pictures, but you won't know for sure if it's your family member, or some stranger since you're not close enough to see them. I did this, and was sure it was my DH. When we got the pictures back, he said "I didn't have the smiley face parachute, I had the xxxx one". Oops!

Banana boat would be harder to do pictures. The trip is pretty rough, so it's a fair guess you would lose the camera. And there's water flying everywhere so you won't be able to see very clearly. Another member of your party can come down to the loading area with you and take pictures as you're getting on the banana boat. But once you pull out, again, no one could tell if it was you or a stranger.

I didn't see anyone professionally taking pictures of these activities. It was one of the few places there wasn't a photographer!

I don't have any experience with parasailing, but a freind of mine sent this to me. She took a photo of the boat and CC while in the air. It looks cool, but I think I'll pass.

We did both parasailing and banana boat. Everyone on the boat for parasiling took pictures for each other as we went up and down and we also had a disposable camera for up in the air. It was amazing.

For the banana boat one of the guys in the boat pulling the raft took some picture for us. Once again we used a disposable for this. They didn't come out great but are still fun to have.
