Parasailing for kids?

Hi,
How many of you have let your kids parasail and if you did, how old were they?

My son parasailed with my husband on Castaway Cay 2 years ago when he was 9. He was scared at first, but loved it! My oldest, now 13 would NEVER go parasailing! He tried Mission Space and won't go on that again.

It was a great experience and he wants to do it again!

My daughter Parasailed at WDW at the Contempory when she was 5. She loved it!!! Now she wants to Parasail at Castaway Cay

My then 6 year old (40 pounds) and 9 year old (50 pounds) both did it at Castaway and loved it. They wanted to do it again last year but all were cancelled because of the high winds. They were bummed.

I would not do it, so my DH had to go with each of them.

My DD was 5½ when she parasailed and loved every minute of it. Our friends let their 4 year old and she loved it too.

My daughter is a bit on the fearless side

My grandchildren (9 at the time) went parasailing with their father and grandfather. They loved it.

Oh My, I somehow was under the impression you had to be 8 or 9..This means we could all do this?? Ds9 (95 lbs) dd6 (55 lbs)...This would be a neat thing to do. My ds would probably be too afraid, but not the fearless little one

Wow...I really think I missed this..Could someone possibly confirm?

i was wondering if the per person charge applies to children riding piggy-back with their parent? i was considering parasailing at CC but not for $70 each?
