Parasailing at WDW

Has anyone gone parasailing at WDW? If so, how was it? TIA!

Fun, fun, fun! I highly recommend it. My daughters and I did it last year, and it was one of the highlights of our trip.

Thanks! My dh is thinking about doing it. If he does the parasailing, do the kids and I get to ride in the boat to watch him, or do we stay on shore?

It was the best thing that I have ever done. I am super scared of heights but I faced my fear and had soo much fun! The view of the World is the best and the guy said it was the highest view in FL. I hope you decide to do it because you will have so much fun!

My husband wasn't allowed to go on the boat, he had to watch from the shore.

Thanks! The kids and I will find a nice spot on the beach to watch and to take pictures. If dh does this, we're thinking of scheduling it for late afternoon and then grabbing a cs dinner at one of the monorail resorts.

I wonder what happens if it is storming on the day and time of your reservation? Maybe they leave room at the end of the day in their schedule for weather rescheduling, or maybe you're just out-of-luck?

If dh decides to do this, I'll be sure to write a review!

I went during Christmas of '04; it was great. The first picture I took from the boat of a couple that went the same that I did. The rest are from a point and shoot camera. I think the date in the lower right is the default date of the camera. The date was 12/30/04.

I was curious about this too. Those pictures are amazing DH has hinted that he would like to do this during our trip next year and I was considering it as a Christmas gift. I'll have to investigate a little more
