Has anyone done this? If so, can you tell me about it? Also, do you tip the boat crew after parasailing? I never know when to tip! I don't want to look like a cheapskate! In advance, THANKS!
:p :p :p

My two kids did it back a few years ago. They did it tandem and loved it. They were gone for about 30 minutes, up for about 10 or 15 minutes. They were in Bay Lake and up about 500 feet or so I would say. It was one of there trip highlights then.

Here is a link to the Sammy Duvall site (it uses frames so you need to click around a bit)

Also, here is a Google search

And Deb's

I do think there is a discount of some sort, AP, DC maybe, best to ask.

As for tipping, I did, I think $20 for the crew.

There is one photo (not a good one) if you go to the www at the bottom of my signature.

Enjoy.

2 of my friends are wanting to Parasail while we are in Disney. I will be the only other person with them. Will they let me go on the boat with them or will I just hang out at the Contemporary and wait on them. I would love to watch them and get some great pics. Thanks for any help!!!:)

I just checked the Sammy Duvall site and it said no passengers in the boat unless your flying. Oh well. At least I can take pics of the Contemporary!!!:)

The whole family did this four or five years ago and it was a blast. We were on the Grand Plan and so the tip was included in the package. You have a great view of MK and that part of the WDW from up high. On my turn some kids in watersprites went into the restricted zone and cause the boat to have to break and me to drop 25 yards. The lake patrol came out ran the watersprites off but it was interesting up there.

My two DDs did it in tandem and had a great time. The CMs gave them a signal fo cut the trip short (kicking their feet). The girls did not kick their feet at all but were flapping their arms like birds their entire turn.

Have fun.

DS and a friends DD did a tandem a couple of years ago and had a great time. DF, DW and I were in the boat and here is one of the pics I got.
