I would like to tell everybody that I bought a "fun in the sun pass" from Paramount International back in April for about 278 plus tax (cant remember exactly) and everything has worked out just as they said. I am from PA and own a year pass but was bringing a friend of my son along and thought that this ticket would be perfect. After I bought it alot of things appeared on this board which caused me great concern. I made a phone call to Disney and everything they said matched what Paramount said. Of course I was still worried because of all the questionable things that I read here on these posts--but none of it was first hand information--all hearsay.I am writing this post from inside Disney Quest and the boy for whom I bought the ticket is running around downstairs.NO PROBLEMS! In fact Ive had more problems with my sons year pass because he didnt put his fingers in right the first time. I THINK IN THE FUTURE EVERYBODY SHOULD ONLY POST WHAT THEY KNOW ABOUT THROUGH FIRST HAND EXPERIENCE WHEN DISCUSSING A BUSINESS.

I agree, madduck. IMHO, a lot of what was posted about this company earlier this year was unfair and not based on actual experience.

Last April, I purchased (via phone) two 7 Day PHP tickets and one 5 Day PHP ticket from Paramount. Planning to use them in a couple of weeks. Pleased to hear that everything has gone well for you. I found the Paramount agent friendly and helpful and the prices were better than any other "legitimate" online broker. There is a $15 shipping charge, but since I bought 3 tickets, the total price was still better than the others, even those with free shipping. Will post again after the tickets are actually used just to confirm that the tickets purchased from this company are exactly what I expected.

Thanks for posting your experience.

Hi Madduck,
I'm glad everything worked out for you! I just read about these passes today and think they look great. I was wondering if you could give more details about your experience. How did it work exchanging the voucher? Was the user required to show ID? Also do you know how it works when using the pass at the other attractions (like Kennedy Space Center)?
Thanks,
Annie

Can you explain Paramount? Is it a ticket broker or Paramount Parks? Thanks S

My daughter and her two cousins are back from their trip. There was absolutely no problem with the tickets that I purchased for them last April. They used plus options as well as major park days. I would use Paramount again. The tickets were exactly what they said they would be.

I'm glad it worked like a charm for you. Does Paramount issue actual tickets, or are they vouchers? Donna

The 5 day and 7 day park hopper plus tickets were the actual tickets, not vouchers. I can't speak for the other passes, though. It wouldn't surprise me if the 10 day World Pass and the 30 day Fun in the Sun pass were vouchers.

Not all of the passes on the web site are intended for the domestic market, and they may not be available for purchase by U.S. residents. All of the hopper passes are OK, though as they are the same ones Disney sells at all the parks.

HTH.

just got back so pardon the delay.the boy who used the voucher gave them his permit to copy his name on to the pass. when i called ticket info. back in june the lady told me that they just use the identification to copy info. on to the cards and the computer, because alot of people who go there and work there do not use english as their first language, so yelling back and forth through the window causes too many mistakes. the lady also told me that a library card would suffice as i.d.

10 day World Hoppers are actual passes.

I LOVE Paramount Int'l. This was the perfect ticket for us. We couldn't get a lot of info from anyone as to whether or not Disney Quest was a one time only or if you could go back but the tickets went right thru on the 2nd day in DQ.

Disney reissued them TWICE when they were demagnetized. (I couldn't figure out WHAT was causing it - then I found a set of those blinking magnetic earrings my daughter had been given in that pocket of my purse - they were so small I hadn't felt them when I was digging in that part of the purse).

Ticket lady at Swan said they were a wonderful bargain and 'you internet people find all the best deals'.
