Paradiso 37?

We eat there for lunch each trip. The menu used to be much better--now it's dumbing down to more of a nacho/taco/burrito place.
The beer is good tho--no place else at WDW to get Negra Modelo on draft. And ice cold.

Yum.... :goodvibes

DH and i just had an appetizer last time his was the fish fritters and i had the quesidilla and both were good.

We too thought the menu had reduced quite a bit since we ate there last and DH was disappointed they had stopped selling Land Shark beer but did say the modelo was good.

1) At least you can get Negro Modelo in bottles at Bongos.
2) As far a Paradiso 37, it already is going downhill.
3) I don't expect this one to last very long.

In June we had horrible service and poor food. I mean stale tortilla chips, really? Go for drinks if you must, otherwise find another spot.

Scupper--I think you may be right.

Speaking of Bongos--long time ago they had Hatuey beer there. Any idea if they still do?? It could be it isn't even made any more, but I sure did like it and have NEVER seen it anywhere else.

The best that can be said of this place is that it opens up to the water. While walking around last week killing time before going to the airport, I was astounded at how few places at DTD take advantage of the waterfront location. Wolfgang, Bongos, House of Blues all sit on the water, but none use it to their advantage. P37 does. So if you want a cocktail, apps or a beer with a nice view of the lake, this hits the spot. What we ate was chain restaurant quality, except for the salsa that came with the tortilla chips. That tasted house-made and was pretty good.

I have been there with the family at least 5 times in the last 12 months ( we live nearby) and we love it, specially early in the evening. The athmosphere is great and the food is way above the disney average. Actually some of the dishes are knockouts, specially the hamburger and baja burrito.
I'd say the bad reviews come from the fact that latin/mexican cousine is not for everybody.
Go, you won't be dissappointed.

We had lunch there again last week and enjoyed it as always. My DH appreciates the very cold beer. We all enjoy the various dips available. Last May, our DD ordered the chicken which was excellent. I enjoy the shrimp salad with jicama. Last week I ordered a burrito which I won't do again. While the filling and especially the sauce were very good, there was too much tortilla and too little stuffing at the ends. Our party also had two different burgers which were apparently very good.

The menu is smaller than it used to be but luckily still had things we enjoy.

edited to add that both my DH and elder son noticed that the young manager last Sunday afternoon was really working hard. They said she was everywhere in a good way.
