We had dinner at Paradisio 37 in Downtown Disney this past Sunday night. We ordered margarita's and my bil and sil ordered a shot of cuervo to add to theirs. Imagine our surprise when the bill showed 2 shots of tequila for $60.00!! Plus the margarita's each cost $15. We asked if this was a special tequila since we only wanted cuervo, he said no things are just more expensive in Disney! After discussing it further he did reduce the price to $30 total. So FYI be sure you ask the price before ordering drinks here.

So you got two $15 margaritas and two $30 shots of tequila? Your bill for two drinks was $90? I feel like there must have been some miscommunication with the bartender.

La Cava del Tequila (which is also at Disney) sells Jose Cuervo Reserva Extra Anejo for $30 a shot. Even though you asked for regular old Cuervo, looks like that may be what you got - or at least what you ended up being charged for. There's no way they should be charging 30 bucks for a shot of regular Cuervo, Disney or no.

$30 a shoot is rather over the top, even if it is in disney. I would have cried if I had got that bill

I bet this is what happened. They probably assumed they wanted the more expensive Cuervo, since it was a shot & not mixed. That would definitely be a shocker, if you were expecting the cheapest Cuervo.
