Paradise Pier v. Howard Johnson

Please help me with my dilemma. I know WDW like the back of my hand, but I am not as knowledgable about DL. My question:

No comparision in my book. One is a Disney hotel and the other is not. PP is the cheapest and most people think un Disney of the 3 resort hotels but when we stayed there a couple years ago I thought it was great. The character breakfast with Minnie and friends is right there. A private entrance to DCA and the CMs are usually very nice. You also have access to any hotel perks at the other 2 hotels like the child care center at DGC called Pinochios Workshop. My twins stayed there one evening this month and loved it.
