It was pod when I was there the end of Sept. It is two sided, so you can brew two cups at once if you need hot water for a small french press. Housekeeping didn't refill the first day with more pods so the second day we moved our tip next to the machine and they seemed to get the hint.
As for the floor set up the first and second do not have rooms to my knowledge (first floor is checkin, lounges, etc and second is conference rooms) as the hotel has a small footprint and is tall instead of a sprawling layout like hotels seen in WDW. I also believe this is because I read somewhere that disney bought it from another company that built it back in the day. There are four elevators but at peak times the wait is rough as rooms start on the third floor so most people do need the elevators to get up and down. Morning was bearable but at the end of the day we had a wait a few days to get back up to our room. The updside is less pool traffic in Dec. as most people need an elevator to even reach that being that its on the third floor.
