Paradise Pier question

How does the exclusive entrance to DCA work from PP? From the maps I've seen, it looks like you must cross the street. Do you exit the hotel from the lobby? I assume there is a sign in the hotel telling you where this entrance is...?

Yes, you do need to cross the street, as you walk up the side walk toward the GC, on your right will be a "pool type" door that you will need to open using your room key. The sinage is very poor aroun PP, and we had to find everything by exploring !

But the exclusive entrance is very cool.

We are staying at PP in April. Looks like DCA opens at 10:00 and DL at 9:00. Are we allowed to go from PP to DCA to DL entrance before Calif Adventure opens? What good is the special PP entrance if DCA opens AFTER and closes BEFORE Disneyland????

If you want to go to Disneyland before DCA opens you have to cross the street and go through the Grand Californian to the Disneyland turnstyles, or you can walk past the Disneyland hotel and through Downtown Disney. Staying at the Paradise Pier hotel does not afford you easier access to Disneyland.
