Paradise Pier or Sheraton Anahiem? Need help!

Okay I have a great rate ($99) for the PP coming up. BUT I have been thinking about switching to the Sheraton ($79 rate) because I am a Starwood rewards member and I am trying to earn points for an trip next April to the Dolphin in WDW.
Has anyone stayed at the Sheraton that could tell me more about it. I love staying on property at the resort but between the lower cost and the Starwood points it builds a strong case to switch. Can you walk from SA? How is their transpo to the parks?

DEFINETLY PP, We stayed 1 night at the Shetaton Annaheim and 5 nights at the pp. The sheraton rooms seemed run down, the pool closed very early, you would have to cross a very busy street and walk a distance to get to disneyland! The PP ON THE OTHERHAND WAS WONDERFUL! great location, beautiful hotel and rooms, great staff, and your in the middle of disney magic! would definetly spend alittle extra and stay at PP! If you have any questions feel free to ask! Hope this helps.......goof
