Paradise Pier or DLH

No to either of those options. I’m a GCH snob. I loved the DLH in the 70’s-80’s as a kid when we’d stay there as a family. All kinds of fun things all over would go on around the hotel property. Now seems disconnected from the Park. I do love the headboards at DLH, but the lack of ambience and connection have killed it for me.

PP has never been appealing to me. And they still haven’t opened up food options. That’s just dumb..

If I were an out of town guest and couldn’t afford GCH, I’d be staying at the Westin.

After much debate, ended up choosing the Tropicana. While I love the Disney experience, this is a spur of the moment trip due to having an event the day prior in San Diego, and a chance to see my favorite (the Light Parade.) I'm sure it'l be super busy as I'm going on a Sunday, but, we'll also be closer to "lower cost" food options such as Panera / McCrappies / iHop.

The $550 savings easily pays for the Universal Orlando tickets.

Last Sunday was one of the least busy days of the week.
