Paradise Pier or Disneyland Hotel?

We are trying to decide between the two for one night. Which is better,nicer??? How is the construction at Disneyland Hotel? Are most or all rooms at Paradise Pier World of Color views??
Never stayed onsite so any help and info would be GREAT!

Just for a night? I don't think you would miss the pool at the DLH that is still under construction and the new waterslides would be more tempting anyway. I think you should try the DLH.

About half the rooms at PPH have WoC views though down low it is a bit obstructed. The other half faces the pool.

We are currently at PPH and are really enjoying it. The room size is great! We are on the 10th floor with a WOC view. The only thing we can't see clearly is the cartoon projections on the water. We can make them out, especially with the music playing in the room but it certainly isn't clear. We got our FP and tried to see it closer last night but CA was SO PACKED since DL closed early (wait time for the Ariel ride was 30 minutes) that we decided to come back to our room. It is an excellent alternative. So far I really have no complaints about PPH- we think it is great!

We have stayed at both.

We love them both.
We had a view of DTD everytime for DLH and an amazing view of world of color everynight for PPH.

In the end we only sleep/shower in our hotel room so the view doesnt matter to much to us.
I think both are great hotels and you will enjoy either one.
