Paradise Pier Boardwalk

Keep reading trip reports and coming across things I'm not sure about.

Does anyone know where Paradise Pier at the Boardwalk is, apparently the illuminations cruise boats depart from here. I wondered if this was another name for the transportation dock.

We got our illuminations cruise from the Boardwalk and it was the normal boat dock.
