Paradise Pier best route

I always hear that you can "Cut through GCH" from Paradise Pier to get to Disneyland, but what exactly does this mean? You just wander through the halls and somehow find the lobby? Silly question maybe but I've always wondered exactly HOW you cut through GHC.

Also, does anyone know if PP has any restaurants open yet and is the lobby still closed?
here is a video of how to walk through the grand. You need your PPH hotel key to enter the gate at the GCH. This was made when the lobby was still open at PPH. You will now have to exit the back of the hotel and walk around, but you still cross at the same crosswalk to get to the Grand. Hope that helps!

Thank you so much, Crystal! This was incredibly helpful. I'm sure I would have gotten lost trying to figure it out on my own lol.

At least for my group, and I don’t know about others, but that means we cross the street and enter the GCH through that entrance and then cut through the hotel to the DTD entrance and then head to DL from there.

As for PP, we stayed there about 2 weeks ago and all the restaurants are still closed, but they do offer that service from DTD still! And the lobby is still closed with the hotel entrance and everything temporarily in the back
Thank you! Do you remember how long the walk took?

No problem!! I typed it all out, but then thought a visual would be easier if you aren’t totally familiar with the grand :)
