Paradise Palms Resort

Has anyone stayed in this resort before? I'm trying to decide between Paradise Palms and Windsor Hills for our family of 5 in December 2013. Thanks!

I stayed there about 3 months ago and I am staying again in December.

It is one of the newest gated communities near Disney with townhomes and single homes. It has a lot of amenities and the nicest ones in my opinion are the large resort style pool and the tiki bar and grill.

Free wifi, large flat screen TV in the living room, flat screen tvs in every bedroom, private pool.

They have good rates but it does not hurt to ask for a discount.

We are staying at Paradise Palms for the second time in June. So far it is the nicest place we have stayed in the Orlando area. The townhomes are really large and the clubhouse area/lagoon pool is top notch.

We quizzed our pool guy from Kissimmee pools who has a contract there and received some really great info from him. Paradise palms is just in the beginning stages of building Villas (houses) and right now are mostly renting townhouses. Compared to Windsor hills, the pools are smaller and may or may not come with spas. He said overall even with all the new bells and whistles, he still preferred Windsor Hills! I think I will give it a few years to get over its growing pains and then check out a Villa!

That is not true. The North half is complete including the villas, which is why there are some for rent on Homeaway and VRBO. They are now finishing the South half of the resort which also has a combination of townhomes and villas.

One thing I liked about Paradise Palms was that ALL the villas and townhomes were in walking distance to the clubhouse/resort pool area. At Windsor Hills you have to drive to the clubhouse. To me the only thing WH has over PP is that its 2 miles closer to Disney, other than that PP is nicer.
