Paradise Island Bahamas

Happy New Year to one and all!!

We are traveling to the bahamas in April and since I got such great Disney advise from everyone here I thought I'd try my luck with the Bahamas.

We are staying at the all-inclusive HI sunspree on Paradise Island. (I've read mixed reviews on other boards but I am willing to take a chance on this place because I booked an excellent rate that has more than tripled since.) Anyway, we want to experience Atlantis ($$$) so I booked the comfort suites for one night because their guests can use all Atlantis facilities. My concern is that the atlantis pools and stuff close around 7pm. Check in at CS is 3pm.......doesn't leave alot of play time. Atlantis opens at 7-7:30am but check out is 11am....again not alot of playtime. Does anyone know the rules about check in/out - will we be considered guests the entire day of check out?

I read on a cruise message board that Atlantis is more strict now about not letting anyone other than Atlantis guest use the facilities (including Comfort Suites guests). Did you verify this with Atlantis or Comfort Suites?

I'm going to the Bahamas on a cruise in May and plan on spending the day on Paradise Island. Sorry, but I can't help you much.

Yes I did verify with comfort suites. Their guests get full use at Atlantis.

I would think that just like at Disney you could check in early in the morning and even if the room isn't ready could use the facilities. Should give you and your family plenty of time to enjoy the Atltantis resort. It is beautiful (we've only visited for the day when we've cruised).
